Goodbye!

As most of you already know we are moving to Utah next week. I'm surprising myself and everyone else because I am so sad about it. I really struggled coming out here and have been homesick til about 8 months ago. I think I finally gave in and accepted that this is where we were supposed to be and really put forth an effort to be a better person and friend. But as with all of my pregnancies big life changes have to happen. I did this exact same thing while pregnant with Nicolas 3 years ago. I would love to be getting excited and ready for the baby, instead we are stressing out about whats going to happen with our house and trying to pack and everything else that is going on. We have made some amazing friends here, we love the weather, and we've just grown to love it here. We always new we would be going back to Utah someday, we just didn't know when and definitely didn't expect to do it now. But things have happened that are out of our control and we have no other choice at this point other than to go back and start over. Jorge starts working on July 1st for another group of Costa Vida franchise owners and he is getting excited to get there and get that going. He is such a hard worker and we are so grateful for the new opportunity he will have there. For the next while we will be living with my parents until we can get our lives figured out and get back on our feet. They are the most amazing parents and have been there for us as we feel our lives have been turned upside down. We are also so grateful for the opportunities we have been given here and for the great people that have supported us along the way. Thank you for your friendships, love, and concern for us through our trials.

(Jorge made this slide show, I think he did a great job, he had me in tears!)
At the beginning of June I got to go on a fun girls weekend to Tahoe with some great friends. We went up Friday afternoon and stayed til Sunday afternoon. We went last year and the weather was beautiful so we hiked and enjoyed the mountains. This year it rained the entire time so we had fun staying in the beautiful condos talking and laughing all day and night, eating junk food, watching movies, and playing games. We also went to a little theater and saw Angels and Demons. We were having so much fun doing nothing that I totally forgot to take pictures so this is all I took. It was just a nice stress free weekend and I am so thankful to have such great friends!

This is half of our group of 10. Everyone went to church but me. Jorge and the boys were supposed to come and spend the day up there with me but because of the weather they stayed home so I just relaxed until they got back from church.

Kaden's last baseball game

Kaden had his last baseball game a couple of weeks ago. He played a great game and was excited to play first base. When the game was over they had a fun party. They ate pizza, did awards, then had a big water fight. After his game and party he thanked us for letting him play and for paying for it. Its so nice to have such a grateful child it makes it all worth it!
This is the cake one of the moms made it was so cute and yummy!

Kaden's coach said some really nice things about each kid and gave them a picture, trophy, and banner with their name on it.
Nicolas loved the baseball cupcakes!

The belly

Some friends and family have requested a belly update, so here you go, isn't it lovely! I'm 30 weeks here, I'm feeling good, just wishing I could go for a nice long run! I have an ultrasound on friday to check the placenta again, hopefully it has moved some more. Now it would just be nice to know what state I'll be delivering in!

Kaden's Purple Belt

A couple of weeks ago Kaden tested and passed for his purple belt in karate. He did such a good job and we are so proud of him! He got to move up to an older class where they get to wear a bunch of silly gear and they get to spar. It makes him nervous to spar with a huge 12 year old but he's doing really good and learning a lot.

Tomorrow I get to go on a fun weekend getaway with some friends to Lake Tahoe. While I am gone Jorge is going to enjoy some good alone time with the boys and even do a garage sale! Our neighborhood is doing a huge garage sale so since we needed to have one anyways Jorge decided he would do it. Kaden is going to be selling some of his stuff and drinks and chips, they are so excited and I'm excited I don't have to do it! So if your in the area come check it out!

Memorial Day

Life has been pretty crazy around here for the last few weeks(I'll explain that when I have more time) so I'm just getting to blogging about our fun Memorial Day. This is the first time since I've known Jorge that he has taken a holiday off other than Christmas and Thanksgiving and it was so nice having him home. We spent the morning and part of the afternoon at a car dealership purchasing our ginormous family car. We got a Honda Odyssey Van, its really nice but seems so big. Our family is growing so our car needed to also!
We had a fun bbq with our friends the Sugden's and Krupp's. The Sugden's hosted the party and made yummy food and homemade ice cream. The kids and dads enjoyed the pool and hot tub while the mom's got to visit a little bit. It was a great day and we are so grateful for good friends!
Nicolas was enjoying the Oreo's and was surprised to find something yummy in the middle!
