Nicolas' 4th Birthday

Nicolas turned 4 on August 11th. We had a very fun and busy day! The day before I took him on his birthday date and he wanted to go to Cabellas and take his friend Ammon. We had a good time and then we went to lunch at CPK after.

On his birthday we had half the neighborhood come over for a super fun water party. Nicolas always manages to hang out with the older ladies!

Nicolas wanted a Toy Story 3 party and he was very excited about his cake!

The water balloon fight got pretty crazy with almost 30 kids, there were a few tears but for the most part they had fun!

After the big party we went out to Nicolas' favorite place, Brick Oven, it was very yummy!

We got home and opened his presents from us he loved his Toy Story bedspread as you can see!

Nicolas is a fun little boy. He is tiny for his age but makes up for it in his spunky personality. He loves to be outside playing with all of the big kids, watching movies and eating popcorn, and loves his brothers!

Jackson's Birthday Party!

I'm almost a 2 months behind on the blogging but sooner or later I'll catch up. This is from Jackson's birthday party. He had lots of fun on his birthday and loved all of the attention but had no clue what it was all about. He is such a sweet baby!

He got a balloon first thing in the morning and loved it!

Getting into his cake! This lasted a couple of minutes then when he decided he was done and couldn't get that stuff of his hands he started screaming and that was the end of the cake!

Happy 1st Birthday Jackson!

Today is Jackson's 1st Birthday! I am so happy that we both survived this first year. Since he turned 6 months he has been the happiest, sweetest baby! His favorite things are being held by mommy, dogs, eating, playing with his brothers, visiting Grandma, Papa, and Sadie the dog, and being outside. He has the best smile and the biggest brown eyes. We love our sweet little Jackson so much and can't wait to see what the next year holds for him!

Jackson 11 months

I can't believe Jackson is going to be having his first birthday in a couple of weeks! This year has gone by so fast. When he was tiny I never thought I would say that but he's been so happy and so fun since he was about 6 months old.

After some concerns from his last doctors appointment I was worried about Jackson's development but this last month he has made HUGE progress! He finally figured out how to get from his tummy and back onto his bottom, he learned how to crawl on his hands and knees on the 4th of July, just this week he's pulling to stand, and he got 6 teeth in one week! He even managed to take his first tumble down the stairs this past Sunday, so sad! I am so proud of his hard work and he is so proud of himself!

Jackson and his cousin Cory are best buddies and love to play together. This day they were enjoying their lunch while watching sesame street, it was pretty cute!

Jackson had his first ice cream cone after Sunday dinner and thought it was pretty yummy but freaked out when he had a handful of freezing cold ice cream and didn't know what to do with it!

We are really enjoying this sweet baby and can't wait to see what the next month brings us. I hope to be better with keeping track of his milestones!

4th of July

I am just not into this blogging thing anymore and I don't know if anyone even looks at our blog since I update about once a month, but we've been doing lots of fun stuff so here's some pictures of our jam packed 4th of July weekend.

We had a fun swimming/ family get together at Aunt Denise's house, the kids had a blast playing with their cousins they don't see very often!

Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Thatcher love their grand babies and the babies love them!

Cute little Jackson at our family reunion. We had a huge family reunion with my dad's side it was all of his aunts, uncles, and cousins, it was fun to see relatives we haven't seen in probably 10 years or more.

Jorge and I ran in the Freedom Run 10k and Kaden ran the 1 miler. We had so much fun running with friends/neighbors. And after we got to hang out with all of them and watch the parade.

The Zoo

Over Memorial Day weekend we took the boys to the zoo, it was Jackson's 1st time at the zoo and he loved it! His favorite part was the train ride and the monkey's!

We got season passes so we'll be having lots of fun at the zoo this year, I just wish it was closer

Preschool graduation

Last month Nicolas graduated from Miss Katee's Preschool. He loved going to preschool and loved his friends and teacher so much! He can't wait to start preschool again in the fall!
