has been so sick! Monday he had a fever of 102+ then Tuesday he woke up with a mouth and throat full of canker sores and a fever. I got worried as the day went on and called the doctor, they had me bring him in right away. The doctor checked him out and thinks he has herpes type1 (not the std). He said his saliva is extremely contagious and not to let him get it in his eyes or he could go blind! Kaden is very worried and is always keeping his eye on him. The doctor put him on a strong antibiotic and we're hoping he starts feeling better. Nicolas has always been so healthy, he's never even been on an antibiotic. He can't and won't eat hardly anything and he's waking up about every hour at night. Today is the fourth day stuck in the house and we're starting to get stir crazy! His mouth hurts so bad and it makes me sad to see him in so much pain, he just holds it open and hardly moves. So that is a little update on our lives, I just had to post something because I was getting tired of seeing those pink cookies whenever I looked at my blog! And just an explanation on why the cookies are pink, as much as we would love to have a little girl, we had some good friends over on Valentines Day and that is how we told them about our little surprise!

I'm sorry he's so sick. Let me know if you need anything. We're usually out of the house at least once a day. Hope for a more speedy recovery!

Oh, I'm so sad to hear how sick little Nicholas is. I hope his recovery will speed up. Can you spray some of that throat numbing spray (I can't for the life of me think of what it's called!) on his cheeks and tongue? I can't imagine how awful he must be feeling. Hang in there...
