On Friday night we went to Kaden's school for Astronomy Night. They aren't allowed to celebrate Halloween in our school district so the PTA put together this event for the kids. We got to go into a little planetarium in the library and learn about stars, look through telescopes, and play games. The kids got to dress up and do a little trick or treating also.

That's nice they had something nice for the kids to go to as an alternative....how sad not to be able to play around and have a Halloween carnival! I forget how stringent they are out there. I remember finding it fascinating just how unrestrictive they were out here in Utah when I moved out here. How quickly one forgets!!
