My Dad

I love my Dad!
Our fun trip to Santa Cruz
I love my dad so much. He is the most loving, caring, forgiving, and unselfish person I know. He would do anything for anyone and is the best example of hard work. He has always worked hard to provide for our family no matter what and we never went without. He is a school teacher and has worked night and day as long as I can remember to make sure things were planned, papers corrected, and grades were done. When my brothers went on missions he worked at Ace Hardware at nights to earn extra money to pay for their missions. When they built a house he was there helping build it to save money and make sure everything was right. When us kids have bought or built houses of our own he's driven to Lehi or Mona to help any way he could. He's helped all of us dig trenches for sprinklers and put in our yards. Even when he comes to visit in California he's out in our yard fixing sprinklers and anything else that needs to be done. He never expects anything in return. Some of my favorite memories with my dad are the summer vacatons we went on every year. We would load up the car as soon as school was out and drive to our destination of the year. One of my favorites was when we went to Oregon, Washington, and Canada. We were gone for almost two weeks. We would camp for a couple of nights then stay in a hotel for a night to freshen up. We got to ride on a ferry into Canada and did so many fun things. I am so grateful for all of the great memories my dad provided for us and the sacrifices he has made for our family. My dad is the best and I am so proud to have him for my dad! Dad, I wish I could be there with you today, I miss you and love you so much! Holly
